To all visiting!!!! Beware of the Long Branch Saloon!! We decided to try a new place to eat Saturday night. We seen an ad for Long Branch Saloon in one of the magazines at our place. Upon pulling in and walking inside, we noticed it wasn't busy and there were only two other tables that people were sitting at. We had a party of 10 and was seated around 6:30. The waitress came over and was extremely pleasant and welcoming! We waited almost 15 min to get our drinks, but felt that was no problem. We ordered two appetizers, which came out quickly and were very good. As we all placed our orders for our meals 3 more tables came in and were seated. There were more customers that came in after we placed our orders and we continued to talk and have an enjoyable time together. After about 45 minutes the waitress came over and said our food should be up shortly. As we continued to wait the customers around us that came in after us started getting their food. Another 15 minutes went by and the waitress came over and apologized that it was taking so long and was going back now to see what the hold up was. We ordered 2 hamburgers for the youngsters, 3 prime ribs (one rare and two medium rare), and 3 sandwiches. She came back and said the hamburgers were the hold up and that they were going to be done in a couple minutes. Finally after another 15 minutes pass, our food came out. Beings my daughter wasn't extremely hungry I decided to cut her burger in half. As I cut it in two I found that it was completely raw inside! I passed it to my aunt at the end of the table to let the waitress know. The waitress promptly apologized and said we could get it off the bill or she could have them fire another one. I asked her to please have them make another one for her. About 5 minutes later the owner came over and instantly got an attitude with my aunt. "You have a problem over here?", in a nasty tone. My aunt proceeded to tell her about the burger and that it was served to a child at that. She told us that they were slammed with people and that was why the food came out late and didn't even apologize about the burger. This set the tone as being fully disrespected as customers in any type of establishment. Beings my father is a person that speaks his mind, he decided to get up and talk to the owner about the attitude that she came over with and how it doesn't make for good service in a customers eyes. She kept her back to him until he was done and only then turned around and said "Then don't come back". Unfortunately the waitress was stuck in the middle of something that the owner could have resolved, but instead added fuel to the fire. So next time you are in Deep Creek and want to try something new stay away from the Long Branch Saloon!!!!
